Who can participate
- Age; 7 years
- First Timer can apply, previous trekking experience is more appperciated.
- The climber must br fit and have sufficient stamina to cover 4 km of distance in 35 minutes without a stress
- The climber should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack.
Health Awareness
- Pulse rate at rest must be in between (60 to 90 beats per minute)
- Blood Pressure Reading must be in between (DIASTOLIC 75-85, SYSTOLIC 100-130 mm Hg)
- Respiratory rate at rest must be in between (12 to 20 breaths per minute)
- Should not have Liver and kidney issues
- Should not have Diabetes Mellitus, Bronchial Asthma, Epilepsy, Heart problems, Hypertension etc
- No pacemaker implant

- Junior trekkers (below 15 years) should have a company of parent/guardian.

Itinerary
- Start your journey early from Rishikesh to Sari Village (Approx. 180 km, 6-7 hours by road).
- Reach Sari Village and acclimatize to the altitude.
- Overnight stay in Sari Village.
- Begin the trek from Sari Village to Deorital (Approx. 2.5 km trek).
- Explore Deorital Lake and enjoy the scenic beauty.
- Camp overnight near Deorital Lake.
- Trek back to Sari Village from Deorital.
- Drive to Chopta (Approx. 30 km, 1-2 hours by road).
- Reach Chopta and set up your camp.
- Relax and prepare for the next day’s trek.
- Overnight stay in Chopta.
- Start early and trek from Chopta to Tungnath Temple (Approx. 3.5 km trek).
- Visit Tungnath, which is the highest Shiva temple in the world.
- Continue the trek to Chandrashila Peak (Approx. 1.5 km trek from Tungnath).
- Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas from Chandrashila.
- Descend back to Chopta.
- Overnight stay in Chopta.
- After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh (Approx. 180 km, 6-7 hours by road).
- Reach Rishikesh and conclude your trek.

Options to reach Rishikesh
1. Take overnight train/bus to Rishikesh.
2. Take overnight train/bus to Haridwar and drive to Rishikesh (35 min drive with normal traffic).
We always recommend to go for the govt. Buses over the private ones outside the bus station as based on the experience we have found that there are very high chances of delay involved with private buses. Also, govt. Buses are always more reliable. Whichever bus you choose, just make sure to reach Rishikesh at least by 05:30 am positively.
3. Take the flight to Dehradun airport (Jolly Grant Airport) and drive to Rishikesh (20 km, 30 min), if coming by flight then come one day early.
After morning tea move to Rishikesh (breakfast and lunch on the way) Reach Rishikesh by 6:00 pm
